Each token's current cross-rate is placed inside its own 90-day distribution, giving a percentile from 0 to 100. Tokens are then ordered by abs(percentile − 50), descending — distance from the middle of that range, in either direction.
A token at the 2nd percentile and one at the 98th are equally far from typical; this ranking does not distinguish the direction, only the distance. Tokens with fewer than 30 aligned daily observations carry no percentile and are excluded rather than assumed to sit at 50. The full calculation is written out on the methodology page.
